Privacy policy

When you use Premise Lab, we collect:

• Account information you provide: email address, age band, optional first name.
• Lab activity: your responses to lab steps and drills, hint usage, attempt counts.
• Generated metrics: PSI scores, gap chips, debrief artifacts, and reflections.
• Authentication metadata from Supabase (sign-in events, OAuth provider).
• Operational logs: request timing, error reports.

We use the data above to provide the service: load your scenarios, evaluate your responses with our LLM evaluator and coach, compute and display your PSI score, generate personalized drill prompts, and surface recommended next labs. Lab content you submit is sent to our LLM provider (Anthropic) for evaluation. We do not use your responses to train any model.

• You can see all of your own data on your dashboard, debrief, and portfolio.
• For students under 18 who explicitly accept a parent link, the linked parent can see PSI scores, recurring patterns, recent labs, and the most recent synthesis artifact.
• Students aged 18–22 are fully independent. No parent can be linked to an 18–22 account.
• Portfolio entries are private by default. You can toggle a public portfolio link, which exposes only your synthesis artifacts and lab titles — never email, parent links, or raw step responses.
• We do not sell your data, ever.

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@premiselab.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

Premise Lab is for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
